Essex County District Attorney Jonathan W. Blodgett invites ALL Essex County High School football teams to participate in a FREE tournament – the “GOAL-LINE7v7” – to be held on August 11, 2012 at Pingree School, 537 Highland Street, S. Hamilton, Massachusetts.
- NO COST for teams
- 5 game minimum
- 20 players maximum per team
- 4 coaches per team
- Gatorade stations on each field
- Under Armour gear for players and coaches (must be worn during tournament)
- First game 10am
DA Blodgett recognizes the great value that young student-athletes place upon their achievement in high school athletics. Similarly, his office hopes to provide an opportunity for those individuals to excel in their competitive endeavors and, at the same time, reflect on the good decision-making that will lead to achievement and excellence in life. As our youth mature the immediate goals of scoring in a game quickly become the goals of becoming healthy, happy, law-abiding citizens.
With those comments in mind, DA Blodgett invites teams from Essex County to play in the tournament without charge. Opening games commence at 10 am and a Tournament Champion will be crowned by 4:30 pm
